Chat Menus

Chat Menu settings allow you to create and manage personalized menu listings that help users easily get responses in the form of messages. It enables you to organize your content and responses for queries according to your business, improving the user experience. Once you create your menus, you can train each menu item to get conversational responses. To do this, click AI Training > Passive Data or simply click here.

The Chat Menu appears as a vertical sidebar within the chat widget, positioned on the left-hand side. This menu is fully customizable and allows you to modify the default menu options such as Home, Products, About Us, and so on.

- Customizable Menu Items: You can easily modify the default menu headings or add new ones.

- Menu Weightage: Each menu item comes with a default weightage that determines its order of appearance. You can adjust this weightage to prioritize certain menus.

- Visibility Options: Menus can be individually enabled, disabled, or made invisible based on your preferences.

To add a new menu:

  1. Click on New Menu Title: Enter a name for the new menu.

  2. Parent or Child Menu: Decide if the new menu will be a parent item or a sub-menu (child) under an existing menu.

  3. Assign an Icon: Choose an icon for the menu from available options or upload your own. Icons can be in various formats.

  4. Click Submit to save all changes.

  5. Use the Preview button to see how the updated Chat Menu will appear within the widget, ensuring it looks and functions as intended.

List Menus

List Menu settings allow you to create and manage listings that help users easily see information related to products, leadership, campaigns, etc. This menu appears on the right side within the chat widget. The List Menu is customisable from the default menu available, with headings such as Home, Products, About Us and so on, up to 7 such headings (in order to create more than 7 headings, please contact the CleanDesk customer care team).

- Customizable Menu Items: You can easily modify the default menu headings or add new ones (up to 7).

- Menu Weightage: Each menu item comes with a default weightage that determines its order of appearance. You can adjust this weightage to prioritize certain menus.

- Visibility Options: Menus can be individually enabled, disabled, or made invisible based on your preferences.

Once you've configured the menu:

- Click Submit to save all changes.

- Use the Preview button to see how the updated List Menu will appear within the widget, ensuring it looks and functions as intended.
